These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LimeAILab AI image generation platform at limeailab.com (the "Service") operated by LimeAILab ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Account Registration and Responsibilities

Creating an Account

You may register using email and password, GitHub OAuth, Google OAuth, or Passkey/WebAuthn. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.

Account Security

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at contact@limeailab.com. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.

Registration Bonus

New accounts receive 20 free credits upon registration. This bonus is subject to change or discontinuation at our discretion.

3. Credit System and Billing

Credits

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Each image generation consumes credits based on the model and parameters used.

Purchasing Credits

You may acquire credits by:

Purchasing credit packs — one-time purchases
Subscribing to a plan — Lite ($15/month, 300 credits) or Pro ($29/month, 800 credits), with discounted yearly options available

Credit Expiration

All credits expire 30 days after being granted. This applies to purchased credits, subscription credits, and bonus credits. Expired credits cannot be recovered.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Creem. By making a purchase, you agree to Creem's terms of service. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

Subscriptions

Subscription credits are granted at the start of each billing cycle.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
Unused credits from the current cycle still expire 30 days after they were granted.

Refunds

Unused credit packs may be refunded within 7 days of purchase if no credits from that purchase have been used.
Subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle has begun.
Credits that have been partially or fully consumed are non-refundable.

4. AI-Generated Content

Ownership

You retain all rights to the images you generate using the Service. We do not claim ownership of your generated content.

Gallery License

If your images are featured in our public Gallery (either by your choice or by curation), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display those images on the Service for promotional and showcase purposes. You may request removal of your images from the Gallery at any time.

No Guarantee of Uniqueness

AI-generated images may be similar to images generated by other users using similar prompts. We do not guarantee that any generated image is unique.

Model Availability

We offer multiple AI models for image generation, including the Nano Banana series and other premium models. Model availability, capabilities, and credit costs may change. We may add, modify, or retire models at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Generate content that violates any applicable law or regulation
Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission
Resell, redistribute, or provide API access to the Service to third parties
Create multiple accounts to abuse free credits or promotional offers
Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
Circumvent any usage limits or access controls

6. Prohibited Content

You must not use the Service to generate:

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualized depictions of minors
Realistic depictions of identified real people without their consent (deepfakes)
Content that promotes terrorism, violence, or self-harm
Hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability
Non-consensual intimate imagery
Content designed to defraud or deceive (e.g., fake documents, counterfeit currency)
Sexually explicit, pornographic, or NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content, including nude or semi-nude depictions intended to be sexually gratifying
Content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights

Violation of this section may result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities.

7. Intellectual Property

Our Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by LimeAILab and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets.

Your Content

You retain ownership of:

Images you generate using the Service
Reference images you upload
Prompts and text you submit

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of generated content complies with applicable laws.

8. Service Availability

No Uptime Guarantee

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may experience downtime due to:

Scheduled maintenance
Upstream AI model provider outages or changes
Infrastructure issues
Force majeure events

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or appropriateness of AI-generated images.

10. Account Termination

By You

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion:

Your personal data and generated images will be removed within 30 days.
Any remaining credits will be forfeited.
Active subscriptions will be cancelled.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

Violate these Terms, including the Acceptable Use and Prohibited Content sections
Engage in fraudulent activity
Fail to pay for purchased services

Upon termination for violation:

All remaining credits are forfeited with no refund.
We may delete your account data immediately.
We reserve the right to report illegal activity to law enforcement.

11. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where LimeAILab operates.

Resolution Process

If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first at contact@limeailab.com to seek an informal resolution. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through the competent courts in our jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you disagree with any changes, your sole remedy is to stop using the Service and delete your account.

13. Miscellaneous

Severability — If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
Entire Agreement — These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LimeAILab regarding the Service.
No Waiver — Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
